Safety by design
Child Safety Standards & CSAE Prevention Policy
WhySy Kid is committed to protecting children and families from child sexual abuse and exploitation across the App, our public Gallery, and our support channels.
1. Scope and definitions
This policy applies to all users and all WhySy Kid surfaces, including child profiles, photos and voice inputs, AI-generated educational content, the public Gallery, ratings, sharing flows, and support channels.
Child Sexual Abuse and Exploitation (CSAE) means conduct including grooming, sexual solicitation, sexual extortion, trafficking, or other behavior that sexually exploits, abuses, or endangers a child.
Child Sexual Abuse Material (CSAM) means any visual, audio, written, illustrated, computer-generated, or live content that depicts or sexualizes a minor in a sexual context.
For this policy, “child” or “minor” means a person under 18, or the broader age defined by applicable local law.
2. Prohibited conduct
Users must not use WhySy Kid to:
- create, upload, request, transmit, store, share, link to, or distribute CSAM in any format;
- groom, solicit, sexualize, threaten, blackmail, sextort, traffic, or otherwise exploit a child;
- arrange or encourage contact with a child for sexual or abusive purposes;
- impersonate a child or use child profiles, images, voices, or generated content to facilitate abuse; or
- share instructions, links, groups, or services intended to access or distribute CSAE or CSAM.
3. In-App Reporting
Parents, guardians, children, and other users can report a child-safety concern from inside the App by opening Settings → Child Safety & Reports and selecting the safety contact button. The same channel is available on this page for people who cannot access the App.
Please include only the details needed to locate the concern, such as a Gallery item title or URL, account identifier, date, and a short description. Do not forward or attach suspected CSAM unless requested by law enforcement or an authorized reporting channel.
4. Review and enforcement
When we receive a report or otherwise obtain actual knowledge of a potential violation, we may:
- remove or restrict access to content;
- temporarily suspend, permanently terminate, or otherwise restrict an account;
- preserve relevant information where legally permitted or required; and
- escalate the matter to the appropriate authorities or child-safety organization.
We may take action without advance notice when necessary to protect a child, prevent further distribution, or comply with law. We do not disclose the identity of a reporter except as necessary to investigate, protect users, or comply with legal process.
5. Legal cooperation
WhySy Kid complies with applicable child-safety and reporting laws. Where required, confirmed CSAM or other reportable conduct may be reported to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) or the relevant regional authority. We cooperate with valid requests from law enforcement and child-protection agencies.
If a child is in immediate danger, contact local emergency services or law enforcement first.
6. Child Safety Point of Contact
Our designated Child Safety Point of Contact is the Soula LLC Legal & Safety Team. This team handles reports, escalations, and requests from Google Play, law enforcement, child-safety organizations, parents, and users.
This policy supplements our Privacy Policy, Terms of Service, and account deletion process. We may update it when our product, processes, or legal obligations change.
